Pillar System tab: manual silo assignment
The Legacy Pillar System tab is where you mark cornerstone pages, review silo health stats, manage cluster relationships, and find the best pillar for supporting posts — without leaving the editor.
Open the Pillar System tab
Post editor → SEO Rank Genius metabox → Pillar System
This tab hosts the original manual pillar system: toggle pillar status, inspect cluster posts, and link supporting articles to the right cornerstone page. It works alongside — not instead of — the AI Authority tab.
Mark as Pillar Page
At the top of the tab, enable Mark as Pillar Page on your broad, comprehensive guide for a topic. Pillar pages are the hub; cluster posts are the spokes that should link back.

Pillar and cluster options
On a pillar page you will see Current Cluster Posts with Linked or Missing status and per-row Insert Link buttons. On a regular post, use Available Pillar Pages to pick a matching pillar and insert or smart-insert a link.
Cluster posts can also enable Exclude From Pillar Linking when a page should never receive automatic pillar suggestions (legal notices, news, etc.).

Silo structure stats
When you view the site silo overview (from dashboard or pillar tools), summary tiles show Pillars, Cluster Posts, Linked, and Missing Links counts. Each pillar card lists completion percentage and which cluster posts still need a link.

Find Best Pillar for cluster posts
On a non-pillar post, open Link to Relevant Pillar and click Find Best Pillar. The engine scores matching pillars by shared taxonomy and suggests anchor text. You can accept the match or pick from Available Pillar Pages below.
