Before you start
Use this hub when something doesn't look right in the plugin — blank screens, failed connections, missing schema, or links that won't insert. Each section below lists the fastest fix first, then points to the full guide for a deeper walkthrough.
Quick fixes
Try these before diving into category-specific sections:
- Hard refresh the WordPress admin (Ctrl+F5 / Cmd+Shift+R).
- Disable conflicting SEO plugins — only one plugin should output meta, schema, and auto-links.
- Check PHP error log on your host if a page is completely white.
- Confirm Administrator role — many screens require manage_options.

Wizard didn't appear after activation?
Go to Settings → Re-run Setup Wizard.
GSC
GSC connection opens a blank tab?
Allow pop-ups and sign in with the property owner account.
Schema
Duplicate FAQ rich results?
Enable Skip duplicate FAQPage in Settings → General.
Links
Bulk insert says success but no link visible?
Clear cache; builder content stores in meta — re-scan to verify.
Migration
Import didn't find my old plugin?
Keep Yoast/Rank Math active until import completes.

Setup & wizard issues
Wizard didn't appear after activation
Open SEO Rank Genius → Settings → Re-run Setup Wizard. Look for the "Complete setup" admin notice on the dashboard.
Progress lost mid-wizard
Wizard state saves for 3 days. Re-open the wizard — it resumes where you left off.

GSC connection
Blank OAuth tab or permission denied
Allow pop-ups for your admin URL. Sign in with the Google account that owns the Search Console property. Verify the property URL matches your WordPress site address (www vs non-www).
Rank Genius shows no query data
GSC data can lag 48–72 hours for new properties. Confirm the correct property type (domain vs URL prefix).

Schema & sitemaps
Schema validation errors
Open Neural Schema on the affected post, run validation, and fix missing required fields. Check for duplicate FAQPage if another SEO plugin is active.
Sitemap not updating
Visit Indexing & Sitemaps → Overview and confirm XML sitemap is enabled. Submit the sitemap URL in Google Search Console after major changes.

Links & redirects
Scan finds nothing
Add focus keywords on Link Management rows. Confirm Scannable Post Types in Settings → General includes your content type.
404 errors after URL changes
Create redirects under URL Medic before deleting old URLs. Run a broken-link scan after bulk redirect imports.

Migration
Import scan finds no source plugin
Keep Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress, or AIOSEO installed and active during import. Run the scan from Settings → Import & Export.
Titles or redirects missing after import
Re-run import with selective options checked. Some third-party formats require the source plugin to remain active until migration finishes.
