These five metrics give you a quick read on sitemap coverage and health.

What the numbers mean for decisions

  • Rising indexable URLs usually means new content is being included.
  • Search Engine Submission should show submitted after you ping search engines.
  • LLM Discoverable helps AI systems find your best content.
  • Thin Content Excluded rising may mean more low-value pages are being filtered.
  • AI-Enhanced Images shows how much image ALT work is already done.

When to use Export and Regenerate

Export

Use for monthly reports, team updates, or client check-ins.

Regenerate

Use after major URL changes, imports, or cleanup projects. Rebuilds your sitemaps.

Quick Actions let you rebuild sitemaps, fill missing ALT text, and notify search engines without leaving Overview.

Simple weekly flow

  1. Open Overview and scan the five metrics plus Sitemap Health bars.
  2. If Critical pages exist, open View Audit and fix those first.
  3. If you made major changes, click Regenerate or Regenerate Sitemaps.
  4. Export once a month to keep progress history.
Consistency wins Ten focused minutes each week usually beats one large cleanup every few months.

Troubleshooting

Numbers feel staleClick Regenerate and wait for the last-updated timestamp to refresh.
Critical bar is highOpen View Audit under Sitemap Health and fix those pages first.
Submission shows pendingUse Ping Search Engines in Quick Actions after regenerating.
Many thin pages excludedReview Content Rules to see which pages were filtered out.
