Where to Find This Tab

Go to SEO Rank Genius → Tools & Analytics → Rank Genius (second tab under the “Tools” group). Marked with a NEW badge.

Prerequisites

  • Pro plan — Free users see an upgrade prompt
  • Google Search Console connected — Rank Genius requires GSC data. Connect it in Submission & Sync or the Search Console integration tab
💡
No GSC? The tab shows a connect prompt. Once connected, data typically takes 24–48 hours to populate as GSC processes your site’s search data.

Dashboard Overview

The Rank Genius dashboard pulls real-time data from Google Search Console and presents it through an AI-powered lens:

  • Total Clicks & Impressions — Your site’s search visibility over the selected date range
  • Average Position — Your mean ranking across all tracked queries
  • CTR — Click-through rate from impressions to clicks
  • Top Queries — Keywords driving the most traffic, with position and trend
  • Top Pages — Your highest-performing URLs by clicks

Keyword Insights

The AI analyzes your GSC data to categorize keywords into actionable groups:

CategoryDescriptionAction
Striking DistanceKeywords ranking position 5–20Optimize existing content to push to page 1
WinnersTop 5 positions with high clicksProtect and expand these rankings
DecliningKeywords losing positions week-over-weekRefresh content, add internal links

AI Recommendations

Based on your GSC data, the AI generates specific, actionable recommendations:

  • “Add [keyword] to the H1 of [URL] — you rank #12 with 500 impressions”
  • “Create a new article targeting [keyword cluster] — your competitor ranks for 15 related terms you’re missing”
  • “Improve CTR on [URL] by rewriting the meta title — 0.8% CTR at position 4 is below average”

Each recommendation includes priority (high/medium/low), estimated impact, and a direct link to the relevant page or setting.

History & Trends

The History sub-tab stores snapshots of your GSC data over time, allowing you to track:

  • Ranking position changes week over week
  • Traffic growth trends
  • Impact of content changes on specific keywords

Troubleshooting

Dashboard Shows No Data

  • Verify GSC is connected (green badge in the header).
  • GSC data has a 2–3 day delay — data from today won’t appear until 48–72 hours later.
  • New sites may need 1–2 weeks of GSC data before insights become meaningful.
