Where to Find This Tab
Go to SEO Rank Genius → Tools & Analytics → SEO Advisor (first tab under the “Tools” group). This is a Pro feature — free users see an upgrade prompt.
Site Score & Dashboard
The SEO Advisor runs a comprehensive audit of your site and distills the results into a single score (0–100) displayed in a ring chart.
Score Ranges
| Score | Grade | What It Means |
|---|---|---|
| 90–100 | Excellent | Outstanding SEO health. Focus on content creation. |
| 70–89 | Good | Solid foundation. Address the remaining issues for a boost. |
| 50–69 | Needs Work | Several areas need attention. Prioritize critical issues. |
| 0–49 | Critical | Major SEO problems. Start with the red issues immediately. |
Issue Cards
Below the score, the advisor displays categorized issue cards:
- Critical — Blocking issues that directly hurt rankings (broken links, missing titles, noindex on important pages)
- Warning — Optimization opportunities (thin meta descriptions, missing alt text, orphan pages)
- Info — Suggestions for improvement (internal linking opportunities, schema gaps)
Each card includes the affected URL count, a brief explanation, and a one-click link to the relevant page or setting.
GSC Opportunities
When Google Search Console is connected, the advisor pulls real data to surface:
- Striking distance keywords — Pages ranking positions 5–20 that could reach page 1 with optimization
- Declining pages — URLs losing traffic compared to last month
- High-impression / low-CTR — Pages getting views but not clicks (title/description needs work)
AI Writing Studio
The advisor includes an AI writing studio that generates SEO content drafts based on your audit findings:
- Meta title/description rewrites — AI suggests optimized versions based on your target keywords
- Content briefs — Outlines for pages targeting content gaps
- Alt text suggestions — Descriptions for images missing ALT attributes
All drafts are read-only previews — nothing is applied to your live site until you approve it in the post editor.
Brand Voice
Click Brand Voice in the header to configure your writing style. The AI uses this when generating content drafts:
- Tone (professional, casual, friendly, authoritative)
- Target audience description
- Words/phrases to always include or avoid
Score Trend History
A sparkline chart tracks your SEO score over time, showing improvement trends across multiple scans. Use this to demonstrate ROI to clients or stakeholders.
Troubleshooting
Scan Stuck or Not Completing
- Large sites (500+ pages) may take several minutes. The progress bar shows real-time status.
- If it stalls, refresh the page and click Re-scan Site.
- Check that your AI provider is configured and has available credits.
Score Seems Too Low
- The score is relative to best practices. Even well-optimized sites rarely score 100.
- Focus on critical (red) issues first — they have the biggest score impact.
