Where to Find This Tab
Go to SEO Rank Genius → Tools & Analytics → Keyword Tracker (third tab under the “Tools” group). Requires Pro plan and a connected Google Search Console account.
Overview Sub-Tab
The default view shows your keyword performance at a glance:
KPI Cards
- Total Keywords — Number of unique search queries your site appears for
- Average Position — Mean ranking across all tracked keywords
- Top 3 Keywords — Count of keywords in positions 1–3
- Page 1 Keywords — Count of keywords in positions 1–10
Monthly Trend Movers
A table showing the biggest ranking changes compared to last month:
- Climbers — Keywords that improved positions (green arrows)
- Fallers — Keywords that lost positions (red arrows)
- New Entries — Keywords that appeared for the first time this month
Position Distribution
A bar chart showing how your keywords are distributed across ranking tiers (1–3, 4–10, 11–20, 21–50, 50+).
Branded vs. Non-Branded
Splits your keywords into branded (containing your company name) and non-branded queries, so you can measure organic visibility independent of brand searches.
Rankings Sub-Tab
A full keyword rankings table with:
- Keyword — The search query
- Current Position — Latest average position in Google
- 3-Month Sparkline — Visual trend of position over the last 90 days
- Trend Arrow — Up (green) or down (red) vs. last period
- Clicks & Impressions — Current period traffic data

- Landing Page — The URL that ranks for this keyword
Use the search, sort, and filter controls to focus on specific keywords or position ranges.
Index Status
The Index Status sub-tab monitors whether your key pages are actually indexed by Google. It checks:
- Which URLs are in Google’s index
- Which URLs were submitted but not yet indexed
- Which URLs were excluded from indexing (and why)
This data comes from the GSC Coverage report, surfaced directly in your WordPress dashboard.
Data Refresh
Keyword data is cached locally and refreshed in two ways:
- Automatic — A cloud cron runs every 3 days to pull fresh GSC data
- Manual — Click the Refresh button to pull the latest data immediately
Troubleshooting
No Keywords Showing
- Ensure GSC is connected (check for the green badge).
- New sites may need 1–2 weeks of GSC data before keywords appear.
- Click Refresh to force a data pull.
Sparklines Not Rendering
- Sparklines require at least 2 months of historical data. They’ll appear automatically as data accumulates.
