Link Reports & Link Overview
Read your site-wide link KPIs, find orphan posts, compare most and least linked content, audit broken URLs, and page through large lists — all from the Reports tab.
Before you start
The Link Reports screen summarizes what the plugin already knows about your internal and external links. It complements Auto-Link Rules, Link Graph, and Link Guardian: use reports for counts and tables; use tools for fixes and visualization.
You will need:
- WordPress Administrator (or an equivalent role with plugin access)
- At least one completed link scan so tables are not empty (see troubleshooting if you see “No Link Data Available”)
- Patience on very large sites — lists paginate ten rows per page per section
Reports overview
Navigate to:
SEO Rank Genius → Tools & Analytics → Reports → Link Reports
The top Link Overview strip shows aggregate counts: total links detected, internal vs external share, and how many orphan posts have zero inbound internal links. Below that, dedicated cards drive each workflow (most linked, least linked, orphans, broken links, and distribution).

Orphan posts
Orphans are published posts/pages with no inbound internal links from elsewhere on your site. They are easy to overlook because they may still rank; they are harder for crawlers to prioritize without internal support.
Orphan Posts lists each URL with Find Links to jump straight into remediation suggestions inside the workflow (for example contextual targets or anchor ideas).

Most & least linked posts
Most Linked Posts ranks URLs by inbound internal link count — your natural hubs. Least Linked Posts still requires at least one inbound link; it surfaces “thin” hub support, not absolute zeros (those are orphans).
Each row shows Inbound and a Score derived from inbound plus outbound internal and external counts. High scores usually mean well-supported pages; low scores flag candidates for more contextual links even if inbound is non-zero.

Least Linked Posts uses the same table layout with ascending inbound sort.
Most Linked Posts — inbound counts and composite link scores; pagination appears when the dataset exceeds ten rows per card.
Broken links
The Broken Links card reads from the same broken-link index Link Guardian maintains. You will see either a celebratory empty state or a sortable list of Source pages, the Broken URL, and the last known HTTP Status (or “Error” when no code returned).
Fix the destination, restore redirects, or remove the anchor; then rerun your scan so the KPI row and this list stay trustworthy.

Troubleshooting
“No Link Data Available” on Link Reports
Run a fresh link scan from SEO Rank Genius → Link Management so the indexer populates totals. Cached admin pages should be refreshed after long scans finish.
Orphans after internal linking campaigns
Rules and manual edits need time to save. Clear server/page caches, open a known referring post in an incognito window, and confirm the orphan count drops on the next scan.
Pagination looks stuck on page 1
Each table paginates independently. Ensure you are clicking inside the card you mean (Most Linked vs Least Linked vs Orphans vs Broken). Only sections with more than ten rows show next/prev controls.
Scores do not match another SEO tool
Scores blend inbound internal, outbound internal, and outbound external caps specific to SEO Rank Genius. Third-party tools may count links differently (navigation vs content, nofollow handling, etc.). Use this score for relative priorities inside the plugin.
Broken list empty but users still report 404s
Confirm Link Guardian finished its crawl, check that the broken URL is linked from content rather than only theme assets, and review edge cases (JavaScript-injected links are not always detected).
