Search Console: connect, choose your site, and read the cards
This guide shows a simple setup flow for site owners. You will connect Google, choose the right property, and understand each KPI card in plain English.
Before you start
Open SEO Rank Genius â Tools & Analytics â Search Console.
Use an account that can manage your website in Google Search Console. If you are not sure, ask the person who set up your domain.
Open the Search Console screen
Go to the menu path above and wait until the cards and tables load.
Check connection status
If the screen says not connected, click the connect button and complete the sign-in window.
Connect Google
The first connection only takes a minute. After that, the plugin remembers your access and you only reconnect if permissions change.

Read KPI cards in plain English
KPI cards help you spot wins and problems quickly. Here is what each one means:
- Impressions: how many times your pages were shown in search results.
- Total clicks: how many times people clicked your result.
- Average CTR: your click rate. Higher means your title and description attract more clicks.
- Avg position: where your pages usually appear. Lower numbers are better.

Quick answers
I connected Google but cards are empty. Is that normal?
Yes, sometimes first sync needs a little time. Refresh again after a short wait.
Can I change the selected property later?
Yes. Open the same screen and pick a different property any time.
What is the easiest number to watch first?
Start with clicks. If clicks grow steadily, your search performance is usually improving.
