Settings and automation: what actually controls notifications
SEO Rank Genius does not have a dedicated Email Alerts screen. Instead, workflow timing lives in General Settings, and optional Google Search Console toggles can ping Google when you publish or update content. This guide shows the real screens.
Start here: no Email Alerts screen
If you are looking for recipient lists, digest schedules, or alert templates — those screens are not in the plugin today. What you do have is SEO Rank Genius → Settings → General, where you configure linking behavior, content processing, broken link timeouts, LLM JSON-LD options, and automated scan frequency.
General Settings sections
The General tab stacks five card sections. Each card has a title, short description, and fields you can change before saving.
General Settings
Core linking behavior — max links per post, contextual linking, anchor rotation.
Content Processing
Scannable post types and excluded post/page IDs.
Broken Link Checker
External and internal link timeout seconds.
LLM Mode — JSON-LD
Skip duplicate FAQPage · Site-wide supplementary Article mode.
Automation
Opportunities Scan Frequency — Daily, Twice Daily, or Weekly.

Optional: GSC publish and update pings

Save Settings
After changing any General Settings field, scroll to the bottom and click Save Settings. Scan frequency changes reschedule the background cron automatically.
