Where to Find This Tab

Navigate to SEO Rank Genius → Indexing & Sitemaps. The Overview tab is selected by default.

The Indexing & Sitemaps page is organized into five tab groups:

Page Layout & Navigation

The Indexing & Sitemaps page uses a left-sidebar navigation with tab groups. Each group contains related tabs. The active tab is highlighted with a blue accent.

What Each KPI Means

KPIWhat It Tracks
Total Indexable URLsAll published posts, pages, and taxonomy archives eligible for your XML sitemap.
Search Engine SubmissionWhether your sitemap has been pinged to Google, Bing, and Yandex.
LLM DiscoverableWhether llms.txt is enabled for AI platforms to reference your content.
Thin Content ExcludedPages below your word-count threshold excluded from the sitemap.
AI-Enhanced ImagesImages where the plugin auto-generated ALT text using AI.

Sitemap Health

Below the KPIs, progress bars show coverage for each content type in your sitemap:

A percentage below 80% usually means some content is excluded by thin-content rules or noindex settings. Check the Content Rules tab to review exclusions.

Quick Actions

ButtonWhat It Does
RegenerateRebuilds your XML sitemap from scratch. Use after bulk publishing or deleting content.
ExportDownloads your indexing settings as a JSON file for backup or migration.

Tip: After regenerating, the plugin automatically pings Google and Bing with your updated sitemap URL.

Generate llms.txt so AI platforms can reference your content.

Troubleshooting

Total Indexable URLs Shows 0

  • Ensure you have published posts or pages (drafts are not counted).
  • Check Settings → Content Processing — at least one post type must be enabled.
  • Run a manual sitemap regeneration from the overview header.

Submission Status Stuck on “Pending”

  • Go to Submission & Sync tab and click “Submit Now”.
  • Verify your server can make outbound HTTP requests.
  • Check that your sitemap URL (/sitemap.xml) is accessible publicly.
