Effective date: [01-04-2026] Version: 1.0 Applies to: Everyone who uses SEO Rank Genius — both the free and paid versions, and our connected online services.

Please read this before you buy or install the plugin. SEO Rank Genius works on almost every kind of website. There is a short list of website types we do not support (you’ll find it below). If your website is one of those types, please don’t buy or install the plugin — it will not work on your site. We tell you this clearly up front so you can decide before spending any money.

1. The short version

  • We support almost all websites and business types.
  • There is a specific list of website types we do not support — see Section 3.
  • If your website is not on that list → you’re welcome to use the plugin. Enjoy it.
  • If your website is on that list → the plugin won’t work on your site, so please don’t buy it.
  • If you buy it anyway and we later confirm your site is on the list → we’ll switch off the plugin for your site and give you a full refund. You won’t lose your money.

That’s it. The rest of this page just explains the details.

2. Why we have this policy

We’re the makers of this plugin, and like any business we choose which uses we support. We’ve decided not to offer our tools to a small number of website categories that don’t fit the values our company is built on. This is simply our choice as the provider, and it’s a condition of using the software.

We’re not here to judge anyone. We just don’t want our product used for these specific things. We keep the list short, clear, and the same for everyone.

3. Website types we do NOT support

We don’t allow the plugin to be used on websites whose main purpose is any of the following. (The key words are “main purpose” — see Section 4, which explains why a site that only mentions one of these topics is usually still fine.)

Alcohol, drugs, and intoxicants

  • Online stores selling alcohol, beer, wine, or spirits
  • Bars, breweries, or distilleries whose site sells or promotes alcohol
  • Websites selling or promoting recreational drugs, cannabis (as a recreational product), or vaping products marketed for getting high
  • Affiliate or review sites built mainly to promote any of the above

Gambling and betting

  • Online casinos, slots, and poker sites
  • Sports betting, bookmakers, and betting-tips sites
  • Lottery, raffle-for-profit, and prize-wagering sites
  • Affiliate sites built mainly to send visitors to gambling or betting

Interest-based lending

  • Websites whose main business is lending money at interest
  • Payday loans, high-interest credit, and similar interest-based loan products
  • Affiliate sites built mainly to promote interest-based loans
  • (Normal business, online stores, and finance-education sites are fine — this is only about sites whose main job is selling interest-based loans.)

Adult and explicit content

  • Pornography and sexually explicit websites
  • Adult webcam, escort, and “dating for sex” services
  • Any site whose main purpose is selling or showing sexual content

Sexual services and exploitation

  • Sites offering or arranging prostitution or paid sexual services
  • Any site involved in human trafficking
  • Any site involving minors in a sexual way (this is also illegal everywhere and will be reported to authorities)

Fortune-telling and occult services

  • Sites selling fortune-telling, psychic readings, tarot, palm reading, or “spell” and curse services as a paid offering
  • Sites selling magic charms or talismans claimed to have supernatural powers

Pork products

  • Stores whose main business is selling pork or pork-based products
  • (General grocery stores, restaurants, and recipe blogs are fine — this is only about sites whose main job is selling pork products.)

Music

  • Sites whose main purpose is streaming, downloading, or selling music
  • Online music players, song libraries, and music-streaming services
  • Sites built mainly around songs, albums, artists, lyrics, or music charts
  • DJ, music-production, and beat-selling services whose main offering is music
  • Affiliate or review sites built mainly to promote music or music services

Movies, TV, and video streaming

  • Sites whose main purpose is streaming, downloading, or selling movies or TV shows
  • Online video-streaming services and film/TV libraries
  • Sites built mainly around films, series, trailers, or celebrity entertainment
  • Movie/TV download or piracy sites
  • Affiliate or review sites built mainly to promote streaming services or films

Dating and relationships

  • Online dating sites and apps
  • Matchmaking and “find a partner” services
  • Sites built mainly around dating, hookups, or romantic/sexual connections

Tobacco and smoking

  • Stores selling cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, shisha/hookah, or related products
  • Sites built mainly around smoking products or promoting smoking
  • (A medical or health site discussing the harms of smoking is fine — this is only about sites whose main job is selling or promoting tobacco.)

Nightclubs and similar venues

  • Nightclubs, bars, and lounges whose site promotes the venue
  • Event or ticketing sites built mainly around nightlife, clubbing, or parties of this kind

Hate, scams, and violence

  • Sites whose main purpose is attacking, mocking, or spreading hatred against any religion or group of people
  • Scam sites, fraud schemes, fake-product sites, and sites selling stolen goods
  • Sites promoting violence, terrorism, or extremist activity
  • Sites selling weapons intended for unlawful harm

4. The simple rule: it’s about your site’s MAIN purpose

The list above is about what your website is mainly about — not the odd word or article.

For example, these are all completely fine and fully supported:

  • A health blog that has an article about the dangers of alcohol
  • A news site that reports on gambling laws
  • A finance website that explains how interest works
  • A recipe site that mentions a wine pairing in one post
  • A medical site discussing drug addiction and recovery
  • A medical or health site explaining why smoking is harmful
  • A religious or educational site warning people against any of the above
  • A wedding photographer or videographer (their main purpose is photography/video, not music or film)
  • A musical-instrument repair shop, or a site selling speakers and audio equipment as products
  • A film-studies or media course that teaches about the industry
  • A relationship-advice or marriage-counselling site that doesn’t run a dating service

None of those are “music sites,” “movie sites,” or “dating sites” — their main purpose is something else, and the topic only comes up around the edges. So they’re supported.

The simple test: Ask “What is this website mainly for?” If the answer is one of the categories in Section 3, it’s not supported. If the topic only comes up occasionally, you’re fine.

5. What we DO support (almost everything)

If your site isn’t in the Section 3 list, you’re good. To give you an idea, all of these are fully supported:

  • Online stores selling normal products
  • Business and company websites
  • Blogs and personal websites
  • News and media sites
  • Education, courses, and tutoring
  • Health, fitness, and medical sites
  • Technology, software, and apps
  • Travel, hotels, and tourism
  • Food, recipes, and restaurants
  • Real estate and property
  • Professional services (lawyers, accountants, agencies, consultants, etc.)
  • Charities and non-profits
  • Religious and community websites
  • …and the vast majority of other websites online

If you’re ever unsure whether your site qualifies, just email us before buying and we’ll tell you.

6. How we check, and what happens

Here’s exactly how it works, so there are no surprises:

  1. Before you buy — we show you a clear notice (linking to this page) listing the unsupported types. You confirm your site isn’t one of them before payment.
  2. Our system checks — the plugin has a built-in check that may flag a site that looks like it could be on the unsupported list. A flag is just a “please look at this” signal — it does not automatically block anything.
  3. A real person reviews it — before anything is switched off, a member of our team actually looks at the site to confirm. This protects honest websites from being blocked by mistake.
  4. If it’s confirmed — we switch off the plugin for that site and send a message explaining why.
  5. If it was a mistake — if you think your site was flagged wrongly, email us at support@seorankgenius.com . We’ll re-check quickly and, if your site is fine, make sure it’s never flagged again.

7. Refunds

  • Free users: there’s nothing to refund — the plugin just won’t run on an unsupported site.
  • Paid users: if you bought the plugin and we later confirm your site is one of the unsupported types, we’ll switch off your licence and give you a full refund of your latest payment — usually within 7-15 business days.

Because we tell you clearly before you buy, unsupported sites can’t keep using the plugin — but you’ll always get your money back. No one loses out financially.

8. Updates to this page

We may update the list and this page from time to time. Each version has a date and a version number. If we make important changes, we’ll update the version number and date at the top. The version you agreed to when you bought is saved with your purchase.

9. Questions?
